We are pleased to share that we have successfully developed a desktop application aimed at transforming library management. Created using C# and SQL Server, this system offers a range of features designed to enhance efficiency in daily library operations.
A standout feature of this application is its product labeling capability, enabling quick identification of items within the library. The system also supports invoice printing, a critical function for maintaining accurate sales records. Our statistics dashboard offers valuable insights into the library's performance, including data on best-selling items, profit, and loss.
The application’s ability to export sales data to Excel allows for easy tracking and analysis of sales trends over time. Additionally, the item shortage warning feature ensures staff are promptly alerted when inventory levels are low, helping to prevent stockouts.
This comprehensive system empowers salesclerks to efficiently manage inventory, including selling, adding, and returning items. Overall, this project has been a fantastic opportunity for growth, and we’re excited to continue enhancing our skills as a software engineering team.
